I. MANDATORY Bike Check-In & Race Packet Pick-Up

What:
All Athletes MUST bring their bikes to the Check-In on Friday, Dec. 6. Upon arrival at the Gifford Aquatic Center, the children will Check-In and Pick-Up their Race Packet (which will contain their running bib/number, ID wristbands for each child and parent, GPS chip to track their times, mini-backpack with all sorts of goodies, and all of their free supplies – e.g., t-shirt, towel, swim goggles, food coupons, etc.).
After picking up their Race Packet, each child will be directed to place their bike into the Transition Area (in a parking lot just west of the pool). Then each Athlete will be directed to place their bike into the Transition Area according to their Race Numbers (don’t worry – there will be lots of help!). Bikes will be stored overnight (with security) so that the Athletes will be ready to compete the next day – on Race Day!
II. MANDATORY Race Orientation

All Athletes MUST attend Race Orientation – which will be three times on Friday – at 3:30pm, 4:30pm and 5:30pm (parents/guardians are encouraged to attend these Orientation Sessions as well – this is a great way for everyone to get comfortable about the Race and the Course)
