(supplies are limited).\u00a0 See detailed instructions under the Swim-Bike-Run Course tab (within the drop-down menu of the Event Info tab).<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n [NOTE:<\/strong> <\/em>If your child would like to participate in a Relay Team<\/strong> (with one or two friends or relatives – where they can decide who will do which of the Swim-Bike-Run segments), the Early Bird Entry Fee is $40<\/strong> – which means one of the three participants can enter for FREE (the Relay Team Entry Fee Increases to $70<\/strong> after November 1]<\/p>\n Each child will receive:<\/strong> (i) tri-athlete t-shirt<\/strong><\/em>, (ii) large designer swim towel<\/strong><\/em>, (iii) backpack<\/strong><\/em> for conveniently storing their equipment in the Transition Area, (iv) beautiful Finisher Medal<\/strong><\/em> with a decorative Ribbon, (v) a really cool trophy<\/strong><\/em> if they place 1st, 2nd or 3rd for their age, and more – and there will be plenty of water<\/strong><\/em> available during the event along with healthy snacks <\/strong><\/em>after completing the course!<\/p>\n [\/vc_wp_text][vc_wp_text][\/vc_wp_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n The 2nd Annual Rotary Kids Triathlon, proudly presented by the Rotary Club of Vero Beach<\/a><\/strong>, will be held at the Victor Hart Sr. Community Enhancement Complex in Vero Beach.\u00a0 This race will allow children between the ages of 6 – 13 to participate in a Swim, Bike, and Run multisport youth event that is geared for both 1st Time Triathletes and the seasoned competitive Triathlete.<\/span><\/p>\n All participants will receive an anklet with an electronic timing chip<\/strong> (so their split and total times can be accurately reported).\u00a0 In addition, each participant and their parent\/guardian will receive a coded ID band for secure child pick-up<\/strong> in the Kid Corral, which is where the children will converge after crossing the Finish Line (see 5th Map under the Race Course Tab).<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n This race will also include a mixed RELAY TEAM CATEGORY<\/strong> in both the Junior and Senior Division.\u00a0 For example, children who are not comfortable with the Swim segment can either: <\/span><\/p>\n (i) be placed in the shallow part of the heated pool (with lifeguards in the water with them), where they have the option of walking the required distance on the bottom of the pool, or<\/span><\/p>\n[NOTE:<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0\u00a0Mandatory Bike Check-In FOR ALL REGISTERED CHILDREN <\/em>is on Friday, December 6, 2024]<\/em><\/h4>\n
